Tramlines, Sheffield’s inner city music festival, has today announced its Sunday Main Stage Headliner for the festival, as well whole host of other acts being added to the bill.

The UK’s biggest inner city festival, Tramlines, returns to Sheffield for its fifth year on Friday 19 July to Sunday 21 July with a bigger and better music programme than ever before.

2-tone ska legends The Selecter have now been confirmed as Sunday’s  Main Stage headliner, topping an already packed weekend of music.

Festival organisers have also announced London based duo Public Service Broadcast. Taking samples from old public service information films, footage and archive material and mixing it into their music, the hotly-tipped act are definitely not one to be missed.

Continuing its support of breaking British talent, further line-up additions across the guitar music spectrum include Wolf Alice, Summer Camp, Superfood, Best Friends and PAWS, whilst acts rooted in the electronic scene range from r’n’b tinged house to ambient with the likes of Anushka, Squarehead, The Soft and Monki.

Festival Director Sarah Nulty said: “Each year we aim to offer more diversity than the last and I think this years’ line-up delivers exactly that. The blend of established acts versus upcoming talent plus local versus international is huge! We have an experienced booking team who put a lot of work into making our line-up accessible as to a wide audience as well as one that rivals other festivals out there”.

It is also announced today that The Leadmill will host Tramlines Eve, the official Tramlines pre-party, on Thursday 18th July. Nine piece Leeds band Gentleman’s Dub Club will headline a night of dub, ska and reggae inspired heavyweight sounds and, as part of the Fringe entertainment programme, it’s free to get in.

Regular line-up announcements will be made over the coming weeks. Confirmations already include Lianne La Havas, The Selecter, David Rodigan MBE, Toddla T Sound, Maurice Fulton, Theo Parrish, New Young Pony Club, Shangaan Electro, Fenech Soler, Slow Club, Jim Jones Revue, The Invisible, 2.54, Friends, Duke Dumont and Dutch Uncles

A limited number of weekend tickets (priced at £15 plus booking fee) are available at http://2013.tramlines.org.uk/tickets/ A limited number of day tickets (priced at £6 plus booking fee) have now been released. Saturday and Sunday day tickets are now available at http://2013.tramlines.org.uk/tickets/ by signing up to be a Tramliner. Day wristbands will also be available on the door at £6 per person per day, under 5’s go free.

Sarah Nulty, Festival Director said: “Our loyal festival goers are telling us that they want to get their hands on day tickets in advance. So we’ve listened and released a limited number of Saturday and Sunday tickets. We know that people will travel to Sheffield specifically to see the line up on any specific day so we took the decision to release some day tickets now.”

Last year’s Tramlines saw over 150,000 people turn Sheffield into one massive festival over three days, creating the feel and atmosphere that rivals any green field festival site.

This year Barker’s Pool will be filled with street theatre and a new stage (Stage Two) will showcase a mix of leftfield and alternative artists at the O2 Academy which increases the capacity and helps festival goers move more freely around the city. Yet another strong line-up has been confirmed over two days with New Young Pony Club headlining on the Saturday and Rolo Tomassi topping the bill on Sunday.

Steel City DJ and producer Toddla T returns to Tramlines for a fifth year with an expanded dance music programme and the Toddla T Sound show.

Continuing their commitment to showcasing the best up and coming talent, Tramlines has linked up with BBC Introducing. BBC Introducing supports unsigned, undiscovered and under the radar talent – two acts will open the Main Stage on Saturday.

Many acts are still to be announced for the festival which across the city will feature hundreds of artists in 60 venues across Sheffield including four stages. There will be the welcome return of the Folk Forest, the Peace Gardens' World Stage, the Buskers Bus, Street Theatre, the Weston Park party and the Blues and Ale Trail - all with line up announcements to follow.
