Somerset House Summer Series 2026: A Celebration of Global Trailblazers

The iconic open-air courtyard of Somerset House is set to transform once again into London’s ultimate destination for musical discovery. The Somerset House Summer Series with American Express has officially unveiled its 2026 lineup, continuing its legacy as a cornerstone of the UK’s cultural calendar since 2003.

This July, the series returns with an extraordinary eleven-night residency featuring a hand-picked selection of pioneers, genre-defiers, and global icons. From the rise of viral sensations to the return of Mercury Prize-winning legends, the 2026 season promises intimate performances in one of the most breathtaking settings in the heart of London.

A Legacy of Innovation

Somerset House is more than just a venue; it is a home for cultural innovators. Over the decades, the Summer Series has hosted once-in-a-lifetime shows from artists like Adele, Rosalia, Amy Winehouse, and St. Vincent. The 2026 curation remains true to this ethos, highlighting artists who reflect their communities and push the boundaries of creative expression.

Matthew Cook, Head of Live Events at Somerset House, notes: "This year's edition promises to deliver spectacular performances... From creative trailblazers who have led the way for bold new genres to future greats carving out their own path, the series stands as a testament to the power of the Arts."
