Festival Crowd Header

A festival for the people, powered by the planet. Supporting youth music, creativity and development with CCP and Studio340. Featuring DRY THE RIVER with Ukey Dukes, King Soloman, Julia Harris and more.

TADSTOCK in association with CCP and Studio340 is proud to present its annual festival for the people of Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and beyond. Set in the heart of the picturesque Cotswolds and uniquely powered by solar energy, TADSTOCK will take place on Saturday 29th August. Dry The River will headline the main “Earth Stage” - built out of the materials its name suggests! - along with support from a host of local talent including Ukey Dukes, King Soloman, Julia Harris and more.

Born in 2005 as a space for local family and friends to commune, Tadstock has quietly grown to embrace a wider community of creatives who gather to share a love for great music, art and entertainment. Since partnering with Cheltenham based charity, CCP, who exist to improve the lives of children, young people, families and vulnerable adults; and their music driven initiative, Studio340, Tadstock plays an important part in the transformation of young lives from within the local and surrounding area.

“Supporting CCP is at the core of Tadstock and our developing relationship has allowed me the privilege of becoming one of their trustees.” Says founder, Tad Czapski, “I never set out to create a festival but this will be its 11th year. It's a wonderfully relaxed event in a gorgeous Cotswold setting with a real social purpose to it.” Whilst the festival welcomes friends, families and music lovers from all walks of life, Tadstock gives young people supported by CCP the opportunity to showcase their musical talent and expand their knowledge and experience in a safe, inspirational and encouraging environment.

“Music is a must in every young person’s life. Important, tangible, it can be shared, be a comfort, pump you up & calm you down. CCP use this force to assist young people, of all backgrounds, to achieve & transform.” Explains CCP Chief Executive, Cordell Ray, “The vehicle we use is a small but perfectly formed fully equipped recording studio, affectionately named, Studio 340. Our annual live training ground is Tadstock, it helps develop self-esteem, confidence and career talent that can be used in music or further afield. It's a truly unique experience for young people, the personal rewards are immeasurable and the legacy far greater than many of us can imagine.”

On board to headline this years festivities are critically acclaimed, British folk-rock band, Dry The River. Having spent the year touring across America, Tadstock is extremely excited to welcome the band back on to UK - and Kencot Farm - soil! Performing songs from their debut and latest album “Alarms In The Heart”, it promises to be an occasion to remember. The band will be supported by a strong local line-up, with Ukey Dukes, King Soloman and Julia Harris, Awfully Nice, Grand Wa Zoo and Gigi St Philips all confirmed to play. When the live music stops, the after hours party and fun begins with various DJ's turning sets in the woods.

Away from the main-stage, Tadstockers will have the chance to sample locally sourced food and produce, with 'Shabbanackle' and 'Ciderwagon' on hand to keep the hunger and thirst at bay. Childrens entertainment comes courtesy of Junkfish and the grounds will play host to various forms of alternative entertainment including music production workshops, yoga, break dancing and graffiti. Providing fun for all the family, Tadstock is an experience like no other. What's more, the whole festival is powered by renewable energy!

Free car parking and camping with shower facilities are offered across the weekend (28th -30th August) to all ticket holders and with stunning views of the Oxfordshire countryside on your tent step, there is no doubt you'll be coming back, next year.

A pre-launch event and BBQ will be held at The Frog and Fiddle in Cheltenham on Sunday 9th August.
