Wasing Estate Announces Intimate Solstice Festival Lineup

Wasing Estate has revealed exciting plans for this year's Solstice at Wasing event, set to be a unique and intimate one-day festival held at the enchanting Sacred Glade nestled within The Woodland at Wasing. The festival, scheduled for Friday, June 20th, 2025, will celebrate the Rite of Summer with a stellar lineup of artists including Anoushka Shankar, Salif Keita, Omer Gonen-Haela, Âpe Chimba, and more.

A Musical Journey in Nature

The festival promises a rich and diverse program of music, nature, and connection set in one of the UK's most beautiful outdoor venues. Attendees can expect a magical and intimate night of celebration and connection centered around the sacred fire—an enduring symbol of continuity, presence, and life.

Headlining Acts

Leading the lineup is the globally renowned sitarist and composer, Anoushka Shankar, known for her genre-defying music that blends Indian classical with global, electronic, jazz, and neo-classical influences. Joining her is Salif Keita, the legendary afro-pop star whose powerful vocals and fusion of Malian music with soul, funk, and jazz have captivated audiences worldwide for over four decades.

Immersive Performances

Multi-instrumentalist and ceremony leader Omer Gonen-Haela will bring his deeply atmospheric music to the Sacred Glade, while Âpe Chimba, a multi-instrumentalist and ceremonial artist, will bridge ancient and contemporary worlds through his unique sound journeys.

A Unique Experience in Nature

The festival, just an hour away from London, offers a perfect escape to embrace nature during the summer solstice. Attendees can enjoy The Fireside Sessions by the Sacred Glade fire, connecting with nature under the stars, followed by a torch-lit procession to the Hilltop for a breathtaking Sunrise Ceremony at dawn.

A Return to Roots

Joshua Dugdale, Custodian of Wasing, expressed excitement for the festival's reimagining, emphasizing a return to the event's core focus on solstice celebrations and meaningful connections with nature and one another. The Sacred Glade at The Woodland provides a stunning backdrop for the festival, reflecting Wasing Estate's commitment to offering transformative experiences in nature.

Wellbeing Offerings

Aside from the music, Wasing Estate will provide a range of wellbeing packages, including nature connection meditations, breathwork sessions, and Wild Swim & Sauna experiences in the secluded woodland lake and wood-fired sauna.

Following the success of the 2024 event, this year's Solstice at Wasing promises to deliver another unforgettable experience. Tickets are now available at www.wasing.co.uk/solstice for those looking to participate in this unique celebration of music, nature, and connection.
