Rochester Cathedral Jazz and Blues Festival Returns for 2025
An autumn music festival is returning for its third year, with even more venues taking part. The Rochester Cathedral Jazz and Blues Festival will feature a line-up of world-class jazz musicians performing inside historic buildings and churches across Medway, curated by acclaimed artist James Taylor.
Expanding Beyond the Cathedral
This year, the festival is expanding beyond the cathedral for the first time. The event aims to raise funds to preserve the 1,400-year-old building and celebrate jazz music with performances by the BBC Big Band, Snowboy and the Latin Section, Ronnie Scott's All Stars, and the James Taylor Quartet.
- The festival will take place at various venues including St Nicholas in Strood and St Margaret's in Rainham.
Festival Curator's Statement
Festival curator James Taylor expressed his excitement about the festival's expansion, stating that it will connect the Medway towns through music. The festival kicks off on November 8 and runs until November 15, with tickets available for purchase online.
