Get ready for an unforgettable summer celebration as Marvellous Festival returns on 17–19 July 2026 to Dinton Pastures Country Park in Wokingham, Berkshire. As one of the UK’s longest-running tribute music festivals, Marvellous promises a spectacular weekend of nonstop live entertainment under the summer sky. Two main stages keep the music flowing day and night: a huge festival stage showcasing world-class tribute bands covering legendary rock and pop artists, and a secondary stage shining the spotlight on talented local musicians. No matter your musical taste – from classic stadium anthems to pop hits – there’s something here to get everyone singing along.
Beyond the music, Marvellous is a truly family-friendly festival packed with fun. A dedicated Big Kids’ Village offers loads of free activities for children, including face painting, arts and crafts, circus skills workshops and games. Roving entertainers like jugglers, stilt walkers and magicians add surprise around every corner. Little ones will love the fairground rides and attractions, while teens and adults can head for the silent disco tent or open-air marquee to dance under the stars. In other words, this festival brings joy to all ages.
No festival would be complete without fantastic food and drink, and Marvellous delivers plenty. Dozens of vendors line the site, offering a feast of street-food and festival classics. Feast on barbecue specials, burgers, pizzas and tasty treats; sample vegetarian and vegan delights; or indulge in sweet desserts to satisfy your cravings. When you need refreshment, local ales, craft beers, fine wines and creative cocktails are on hand. The delicious variety and laid-back picnic atmosphere mean you’ll never go thirsty or hungry, day or night.
When it’s time to unwind, Marvellous has you covered for a full weekend adventure. Festival-goers can pitch tents or park campervans in the designated camping zones, or upgrade to a comfortable glamping tent complete with real beds and linens. On-site hot showers, flushing toilets and 24-hour security on site help everyone relax and get a good night’s sleep. Between sets you can explore the park’s peaceful trails, picnic by the scenic lake, or simply soak in the beautiful Berkshire countryside. Gorgeous sunsets over the water provide the perfect backdrop to this magical summer event.
Attendees often rave about Marvellous’s friendly, well-organised atmosphere and how smoothly the event is run. Families, friends and music lovers leave with big smiles and memories after dancing together all weekend. Marvellous is not just a concert series – it’s a summer experience filled with music, laughter and friendship. So mark your calendar, gather your loved ones, and join us at Marvellous Festival 2026 for a weekend of music, memories and pure fun!
By car: Dinton Pastures (Davis Street, RG10 0TH) is easily accessible by road. From the M4 (Junction 10) take the A329(M) towards Reading, then continue on the A329 towards Winnersh and Twyford. Follow signs for Dinton Pastures Country Park. Enter RG10 0TH into your sat nav to reach the main entrance on Davis Street. Ample parking is available on site (a pay & display fee applies), and the venue is well signposted from the motorway. Arriving early on busy days will help avoid any parking delays.
By train: The nearest station is Winnersh (also served by Winnersh Triangle) on the Reading-London line. Winnersh is only a 10-15 minute walk from Dinton Pastures. Exit the station, turn left and follow the road over the motorway bridge, and you will see signs for the country park. Regular trains run from London (Waterloo via Wokingham and Paddington via Reading) and from Oxford or Bristol to Reading, with onward connections. You can also alight at Wokingham or Reading station and take a short taxi or bus ride to the venue. Check National Rail or GWR for the latest schedules.
By bus: Local Thames Valley Buses routes 127, 128 and 129 connect Dinton Pastures with Reading and Wokingham. The bus stop is directly outside the park’s main entrance on Davis Street. These buses typically run every hour (or more frequently on weekends), so check the timetable in advance. Traveling by bus can be convenient and avoids parking fees – simply alight at the Dinton Pastures stop and walk straight in.
By air: London Heathrow Airport is the nearest major airport (around 25 miles east of Wokingham). From Heathrow you can drive via the M4/A329 or take the train. Frequent services run from Heathrow to London Paddington, with connections onward to Reading and Winnersh. Gatwick and Stansted airports are also accessible, but they often require longer travel (generally 1-2 hours via London). Once you reach Reading or Winnersh, a quick taxi or local bus will bring you to the festival site. Alternately, airports in Birmingham or Southampton (while farther away) can sometimes offer competitive flights, with onward rail or road journeys available. In all cases, book early, check timetables, and allow extra time for transfers during busy travel periods.
Accommodation tips: If you prefer not to camp, consider staying in nearby towns. Wokingham (about 3 miles away) and Reading (about 7 miles away) offer a range of hotels, inns and B&Bs to suit different budgets. Book early, especially for summer weekends which fill up fast. Both towns have train stations and local roads with easy access to the festival site. Arriving a day or two early lets you enjoy local pubs, parks and shopping before Marvellous kicks off. And remember, the festival’s own on-site camping and glamping options (with beds provided) mean you can truly make it a weekend adventure.
