Prepare for three days of soulful vibes and great music at Love Supreme Jazz Festival, running from 3-5 July 2026. Set in the stunning Glynde Place in East Sussex, this beloved festival brings together legends and rising stars of jazz, soul, funk, R&B, and blues in a spectacular outdoor setting. Whether you’re a longtime jazz fan or new to the genre, Love Supreme offers an inviting, fun-filled weekend where you can immerse yourself in world-class performances across multiple stages while soaking up the summer sun.
Under the historic charm of Glynde Place’s stately home and surrounded by the rolling hills of the South Downs, festival-goers dance beneath open skies or relax in leafy chill-out areas between performances. The festival’s greenfield, boutique vibe means enchanting surroundings of meadows, woodlands and even a picturesque lake. You might be grooving to a band in a big top tent one moment and wandering through artisan markets or quiet acoustic sets the next – it’s music discovery at its most magical.
In 2026, Love Supreme’s line-up blends legendary jazz greats (including Grammy-winning icons) with cutting-edge newcomers. Across the main stage and two additional stages — from the lively outdoor stage to an atmospheric big top tent — expect stirring solos, blistering ensembles, and irresistibly groovy tunes. The music spans genres: classic jazz standards and silky soul mingle with high-energy funk, world rhythms, and modern fusion. As the sun sets, DJs keep the party alive under the stars with dance grooves and late-night jams.
But the fun isn’t limited to music. Love Supreme has something for everyone: fuel up at international street-food stalls and local craft vendors, savor cocktails and a selection of craft beers, or hunt for vinyl and handmade keepsakes at artisan markets. Families are welcome, with activities to keep little ones entertained. Yoga classes, wellness sessions, and art workshops add to the buzz, ensuring there’s always something new to experience. Spontaneous jam circles and surprise collaborations can pop up throughout the site, adding an extra spark of magic to the weekend. The relaxed, open-air atmosphere and friendly crowd ensure you’re bound to make new friends as you tap your feet and soak in the scene.
Camp under the stars or wake up to a picnic on the lawn - whatever your style, Love Supreme’s spirit is warm and communal. It’s as much about the joy of being together as it is about the music, making it a perfect summer escape for couples, friends, and families alike. Whether you’re front-row at a swinging set under the sun or gazing at a sunset session, one thing is certain: Love Supreme in July is the ultimate celebration of music, community and memories. For one special weekend each July, Love Supreme truly brings everyone together in a joyous celebration of music, soul and friendship. We can’t wait to see you there!
Love Supreme Jazz Festival is easily accessible by public transport. The nearest train station is Glynde (Southern Rail), with regular services linking to Lewes, Brighton and the wider south coast. On festival weekends a free shuttle bus runs frequently from Glynde Station up to the festival gates. If your train only goes as far as Lewes (a major station on the London-Brighton line), you can take a local train or the official shuttle to Glynde. For an even easier option, festival buses run from Brighton and Lewes directly to Glynde Place on each festival day (advance tickets are highly recommended to reserve your seat).
By car, you’ll approach the festival via the A27. From the west, follow the M25 to the M23 south, then A23/A27 eastbound; from the east, follow A27 past Eastbourne towards Lewes. Follow the festival signs into Glynde (do not drive through the village). Onsite parking (north of the venue) is available with a pre-booked pass – buy in advance. The car parks are a short walk from the entrances. If you prefer not to drive, official coach services (Big Green Coach) run from London and nearby towns, dropping you at the gates – a relaxing, eco-friendly option. Taxis and rideshares can use a dedicated drop-off point near the festival; pre-booking a cab is advised as local services may be busy.
If you’re flying in, London Gatwick Airport is the closest major airport (about 40 minutes by car or train). From Gatwick, you can catch a direct train to Lewes or Brighton and then connect onward to Glynde. London Heathrow and other airports are further away; if arriving at Heathrow, travel via central London or by coach first. For accommodation, you have many options: festival camping (tents, deluxe glamping and more) is available on site, or you can stay in nearby towns. The historic town of Lewes and the seaside city of Brighton are both within about 20 minutes by train and offer a range of hotels, B&Bs and guesthouses. Many visitors book their lodgings early as summer weekends can fill up fast.
