Experience a weekend of music and discovery at Junction 2, a celebrated outdoor electronic festival set in the verdant Boston Manor Park. Each summer, this leafy West London park transforms into a vibrant danceground as underground house and techno artists from around the world come together under the open sky. From midday sun to starlit night, the air pulses with deep bass grooves and soaring synths, uniting thousands of music lovers in a joyful celebration of sound. Here, every moment feels epic yet welcoming: there are no VIP sections or exclusive areas, just one big community sharing in the energy and excitement on equal footing.
Since its launch in 2016, Junction 2 has grown from a one-day event to a multi-day summer highlight. The festival is known for its music-first philosophy and high-end production. The carefully curated lineup brings together cutting-edge talent and established icons of electronic music. Whether you love pulsing techno or groovy house, breaks or ambient sets, the diverse stages deliver something for everyone. Each stage has its own character. One might be a massive rave beneath a motorway flyover, while another feels like a secret woodland dancefloor hidden among the trees. All are united by crystal-clear sound systems and eye-catching visuals that elevate every set into an unforgettable experience.
Step onto the festival grounds and you will find more than just music in the speakers. The scene is alive with friendly energy. People of all ages and backgrounds dance together in the sunshine. Food trucks and bars line the park paths, serving up global street food, vegan treats, cold drinks, and local craft beers. Chill-out areas let you take breaks and recharge between sets, while art installations and interactive light shows add extra magic to the journey. Every detail, from the safety and comfort of the layout to the fresh design of each stage, is built so that all you have to do is be there, feel the music, and have fun.
By nightfall, Junction 2 becomes a neon dreamscape. The forest stage glows with lasers and strobes as the sun sets, and the Bridge stage beneath the overpass thumps with late-night techno that keeps dancers moving into the early hours. Watching DJ sets under the stars is pure bliss, with every beat resonating under massive motorway columns or amidst the trees. There is something electric in the air as everyone around you is swept up in the same groove, hands in the air and smiles on every face. It is a communal high that rarely happens anywhere else.
Whether you are a veteran raver or new to the scene, Junction 2 offers an exciting and safe space to explore new DJs, meet like-minded people, and dance your heart out. Each year it delivers unforgettable moments, from serene sunrise sets to surprise back-to-back collaborations, turning strangers into friends with every shared anthem. For longtime fans, it is an annual reunion; for newcomers, a thrilling introduction to the best of the underground music scene. The festival's spirit is all about moving forward: forward in creativity, forward in sound, and forward in community. Join us for a soul-stirring adventure of music and connection at one of London's most beloved summer festivals.
Boston Manor Park is easy to reach by public transport. The Piccadilly Line stops at Boston Manor station, which is just a short walk (5-10 minutes) from the festival entrance. This Tube line runs directly from central London to Heathrow Airport, so it’s a convenient route for many visitors. If you arrive on other Tube lines or trains, change at Acton Town or Hammersmith onto the Piccadilly Line heading west.
Several London buses also serve Boston Manor Road near the park. Routes E2 and E8 run through Acton and Northfields, while H91 connects Southall to Brentford. Bus 195 also passes nearby. Always check the Transport for London (TfL) website or app for up-to-date schedules. During events, extra shuttle buses may also operate from nearby transit stations to move crowds more easily.
If you choose to drive, Boston Manor Park sits just off the M4 (exit at Junction 2, North Hyde) via the A4. From central London, take the A4 (Talgarth Road) westbound to reach the M4. Traffic can be heavy on event days, so allow plenty of time. Parking at the park itself is extremely limited: a small on-site council car park fills up quickly (and usually limits parking to a short stay), while street parking on Boston Manor Road is sparse. For this reason, carpooling or using public transport is highly recommended.
Heathrow Airport is the closest major airport, only about 10 km away. The Tube from Heathrow will get you to Boston Manor station in roughly 15-20 minutes. Gatwick and Luton airports are farther away (each requiring over an hour to travel into London and then take the Tube), but they are options if needed. London City Airport is on the opposite side of London and has no direct route to the park, so travelers from City usually connect via train or DLR into central London first.
Boston Manor Park is surrounded by residential neighborhoods like Hounslow and Ealing. Nearby areas like Hounslow, Ealing, and Acton have many hotels, guesthouses, and B&Bs, often at more affordable prices than central London. You could also stay near Hammersmith or Wembley, which have direct Tube or bus links to the park. Even some central London hotels (Zone 1-2) can be practical, since Boston Manor is only about 30-40 minutes away by Tube. Wherever you decide to stay, be sure to book well in advance, as accommodations fill up quickly during major events.
