Shapes

Shapes are a Birmingham, UK rock band and a three-piece math rock and post-hardcore group. They release their debut EP Get Your Learn On in 2008 on Godmonkey Recordings. The following year they sign to Big Scary Monsters and release The Pasture, The Oil, followed by Monotony Chic in 2011.

The band’s recorded output sits within math rock, post-hardcore, progressive rock and experimental music. Their releases establish them as part of the UK underground rock scene, moving from an initial independent issue to later work on a recognised specialist label.
