DJ Target

DJ Target, real name Darren Joseph, is a UK garage and grime artist from East London. He is associated with the Pay As U Go Cartel and Roll Deep, and is recognised as one of the key figures in Roll Deep, particularly as Wiley focuses on solo work.

Career

He begins his career as a member of Pay As U Go before that crew disintegrates. He then forms Roll Deep with Wiley, Breeze and Flow Dan. His work is closely tied to grime, and he is also a producer.

Broadcasting and other work

DJ Target hosts a radio show on BBC 1Xtra, where he plays hip hop, urban music and grime. He is also responsible for the Aim Higher series of grime DVDs.
