Notorious rock and roll firebrands KASABIAN are ready to dust off their salopettes and mittens and set fire to the après-ski celebrations as they prepare to headline the exceptional SNOWBOMBING festival in 2013!

Acclaimed as one of the hottest and most exhilarating live acts on earth, KASABIAN will be leaving behind the stadiums and arenas they’re accustomed to in favour of a truly unique gig encircled by crisp winter air and snow-capped mountain peaks. Their eagerly anticipated appearance will provide a suitably out-of-this-world climax to an event without rival – “the greatest show on snow”!

The Leicestershire lads will not only be appearing at the apex of the festival’s line up, but will also be scaling the hillsides to another summit as they perform a second and completely exclusive and intimate show 6000 feet up on the powder-topped crest of a mountain.

Snowbombing founder Gareth Cooper said: “One of the world’s best live bands playing in a small Austrian village is what Snowbombing is all about; delivering a unique, intimate festival experience in amazing surroundings and venues.”

The world’s premier alpine music festival has today announced an additional avalanche of outstanding live acts for their 2013 event, taking place in Mayrhofen, Austria between 1–6 April.

Dexterous electro-pop superstar EXAMPLE steps up to the party in the forest. Now firmly established as a main stage festival act, this will be Elliot Gleave’s first open-air alpine appearance.

Example said: “I don't just come to Snowbombing on the day of the gig. I come for the week. Still the best party of the year for me - unrivalled location. I’ve got the added excitement of playing the forest this year!”

With a voice as pure and crystal clear as an alpine spring morning, KATY B brings her sweet, vocalised dubstep, R&B and UK garage sensibilities to the mountains.

Snowbombing is a festival renowned for the wide spectrum of dance artists invited to perform - from international legends to the most exciting emerging talent. Teenage brothers in rhythm, DISCLOSURE, effortlessly combine the 2-step garage rhythms and dubstep basslines of the underground Croydon scene with their own rich musical heritage of soul and garage music.

East London quartet RUDIMENTAL are on a mission to bring back soul into electronic music. Impossible to pigeonhole, and with UK No. 1 “Feel the Love” already under their collective belts, Rudimental are currently one of the hottest acts in dance music.

FOREIGN BEGGARS’ style and presence has been setting the standards in UK rap for over a decade. Top ten chart smashes, multiple award nominations, millions of YouTube hits and working with the world’s biggest producers, Noisia, Flux Pavilion and Grammy award winning Skrillex, have made Foreign Beggars one of the most in demand groups on the planet.

Double BRIT Award and three time MOBO Award winning UK garage, R&B and rap sensation MS. DYNAMITE makes a welcome return to Snowbombing after her explosive debut at this year’s event with her intoxicating mix of innovative and incendiary styles.

South London grime MC P MONEY is one of dubstep’s brightest wordsmiths, firing staggering staccato bursts as rapid as anyone out there. The slopes won’t know what him them.

A host of world class DJs have already been confirmed to play in 2013, including the legendary Carl Cox, Seth Troxler, Andy C, Skream, Maceo Plex, James Zabiela, David Rodigan MBE, Fake Blood, Kerri Chandler, Eats Everything, MistaJam, Norman Jay MBE, Shy FX and Toddla T.
