New festival in Haverfordwest to celebrate town's heritage

A new festival celebrating Haverfordwest's historic and riverside heritage is set to take place. The Castle to the Quay Festival will be held on September 6 from 10am to 6pm, featuring live music, craft activities for children, storytelling, face painting, citizen science, riverside activities, market stalls, and live art. Festival-goers will have the opportunity to learn about the town's history and meet local advocates for the Cleddau river.

There will also be guided walking tours of the town and castle, as well as interactive stalls run by members of water sports clubs. The event, which is free to attend, will be held in various locations across Haverfordwest and is funded by several organizations including the National Heritage Lottery Fund and Pembrokeshire County Council.
