From Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 June 2026, Towerfest returns to Festival Fields near Drax, North Yorkshire. This four-day open-air country music festival offers a friendly, authentic celebration in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside.

If you are coming from the west or east, the M62 is your main route: take junction 36 onto the A645 towards Selby and Drax, then follow local signs to the festival. From the north or south, use the A1(M) motorway and then pick up the A19 towards Selby before heading east to the site. On arrival you will see clear signposts, and there is ample parking on-site for attendees. Friendly stewards will guide you to the designated car parks and camping zones as soon as you arrive.

By Train & Bus: The nearest railway station to Festival Fields is Selby, with regular train services to cities like Leeds, York, and Manchester. From Selby Station, you can take a local taxi directly to the festival (a short 10-minute ride), or check local bus routes 8 or 401 towards Drax - the final stop will be near Drax Power Station. Once in Drax, follow the Festival Fields signs or ask for directions to the open-field venue. Keep in mind that bus schedules may be limited in the late evening, so arranging a taxi or ride-share from Selby to the site can be more convenient after the trains stop running.

By Air: Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) is the closest major airport, about a 50-mile drive from the festival. Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) is also nearby (around 30 miles) and could be a quick option. Manchester Airport (MAN) is about 100 miles to the west and might serve as an alternative hub. From any airport, the easiest way to reach Towerfest is by car rental or by train into Leeds or Doncaster followed by a connection to Selby. The countryside drive is quite scenic - for example, from Doncaster take the A1(M) north to the M62. Entering postcode YO8 8PJ into your satnav will guide you directly to the site entrance, where festival staff will be ready to welcome you.

Accommodation: Many attendees opt to stay on-site. Festival camping is well maintained, with options for tents, caravans, and motorhomes (electric hook-ups available). Be sure to book camping places in advance, as they can be in high demand. If you prefer other lodging, nearby Selby (about a 10-minute drive) has several hotels, inns, and B&Bs. Countryside accommodations like pubs with rooms or holiday cottages can also be found in the villages around Drax.
