Rochester Castle Concerts

A unique event in the summer’s gig calendar, Castle Concerts delivers four nights of live music, staged in the spectacular Rochester Castle Gardens. This stunning and intimate setting, located at the heart of historic Rochester’s town centre.

The event runs from 18 - 21 July with top acts performing including Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Steps, Billy Ocean and Alexander O'Neal and The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra to close the final day.

Steps are performing on Thurs 19th and after a successful 2012 arena tour this is your opportunity to get up close with the band. With massive hits including 5,6,7,8, Chain reaction, Tragedy and Deeper shade of blue it is sure to be a great day for all the family.

Tickets are on sale now at £35 each

Food and Drink:
A range of hot and cold snacks are available in Rochester Castle Gardens. Two bars, selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, will be open during the concerts. They will close 30 minutes before the end of each concert.

You may bring food and drink into the venue but please do not take glass items, including bottles and wine glasses into the grounds. Not more than one litre of beer or wine per person is permitted.

Barbecues, gas cylinders or flaming torches are strictly prohibited.

Toilets:
As well as the public toilets in Rochester Castle Gardens there will also be portable toilets placed around the grounds. Additional toilets are available at Northgate outside the castle grounds. This is a three-minute walk. A pass-out system will be in operation to enable you to re-enter Rochester Castle Gardens.
