Purbeck Folk Festival covers the broader definition of folk music, and you can hear music from around the world; some are deep and meaningful, and some get up and jump around. There's something for everyone's musical taste. Three big barns are used for stages and the bar, which means you're dry if it rains, but there's a big grassy bank to sit on in the sunshine.

There’s now a tradition of giving the young ones a chance – the line-up always features finalists from Radio 2’s young folk awards, the best, vibrant young national and internationally known artists, a few oldies, and the best of Dorset’s local music scene.
Purbeck Folk Festival is focused on quality music, and they are lucky to have a diverse audience from all different backgrounds brought together through their love of good music. Everyone shares a respect for the performers, which has made Purbeck the festival loved by artists and festival-goers alike.
