3 July - 05 July 2026
Maverick Festival invites you to experience the very best of Americana, country and roots music in one of the most idyllic settings in England. Set for July 3-5, 2026, at Easton Farm Park near Woodbridge, Suffolk, this friendly three-day event has earned a reputation as the UK's first and finest celebration of Americana. Picture yourself surrounded by lush green fields and charming Victorian barns as the sounds of foot-stomping country, soulful blues and heartfelt folk music fill the air. With multiple stages featuring top artists from both sides of the Atlantic, Maverick brings a handpicked lineup of talented musicians and bands in intimate venues that make every show feel personal.
But Maverick is more than just music. It's a community gathering where new friendships are made around campfires and festival bonfires. Kids (and kids at heart) will love the family-friendly activities, from dance workshops and storytelling sessions to fun crafts and games. Delicious local food and drink options are on offer at every turn - think freshly made pizzas, authentic street food, and sweet treats (yes, award-winning ice cream too), all washed down with crisp Suffolk cider, local ale or comforting hot drinks. Whether you're relaxing on hay bales between sets or learning new dance steps under the open sky, the festival buzz is always warm and welcoming. You might even find yourself in an impromptu jam circle or community sing-along, blending your voice (or guitar) with new friends beneath the stars.
The rustic farm setting of Easton Farm Park makes Maverick feel refreshingly different. The historic barns provide acoustic charm for intimate indoor sets, while outdoor stages bathe in sunlight (and stars by night). Campers can pitch a tent on-site, waking up to the sound of gentle guitar melodies from the main stage or simply sipping morning coffee with fellow music lovers. For those seeking a touch more comfort, nearby Woodbridge, Ipswich or other charming Suffolk villages offer cosy B&Bs, hotels and even spa resorts within easy reach. But nothing beats staying on the farm – many festivalgoers say the communal camping experience is part of Maverick's magic.
Each year, Maverick creates countless unforgettable moments: heartwarming sing-alongs, spontaneous porch-floor hoedowns, and the pure joy of discovering new favorite artists in such an intimate environment. With its family-friendly spirit, beautifully curated lineup, and genuine country charm, Maverick isn't just a music festival - it's a summer-long hug for the soul. Beneath the starry Suffolk sky, friendships are forged and music lovers of all ages come together. If you dream of a music weekend full of twangy guitars, friendly faces, and Suffolk's rolling meadows as your backdrop, this is the place to be.
By car, Easton Farm Park is straightforward to reach. The park is just a few miles from Woodbridge, accessible via the A12. If you're coming from London or Cambridge, simply follow the A12 north (signposted to Ipswich) and exit onto the A1152 towards Woodbridge and Easton. Follow brown tourist signs for Easton Farm Park. GPS may list the address as Easton Farm Park, Pound Corner, Woodbridge, IP13 0EQ. Parking is available on site for ticket-holders, but roads are narrow country lanes, so allow a little extra travel time.
For public transport, the nearest station is Woodbridge (on the East Suffolk Line). Trains run from London (via Ipswich) or from Norwich to Woodbridge. From there, Easton Farm Park is about a 5-minute taxi ride, or you can check local buses. For example, bus routes 63 or 118 stop near Easton. Get off at the White Horse pub stop; it's then a 10-minute walk to the farm. Be aware that rural bus service can be infrequent on weekends, so plan ahead or consider sharing a taxi.
If you're flying in, the nearest airports are Norwich (about 60 miles away) and London Stansted (some 70-80 miles). Norwich has train services to Ipswich and onward to Woodbridge. From Stansted, take the train via Cambridge or London Liverpool Street and change for Ipswich/Woodbridge. Both airports have car hire if you prefer driving. The larger London airports (Heathrow/Gatwick) are farther away (roughly 2-3 hours by car) and involve a longer journey into Suffolk.
Accommodation in the area ranges from on-site camping to nearby hotels and B&Bs. The festival often offers on-site camping (included with tickets), so pack your tent if you want the full weekend experience. Otherwise, the town of Woodbridge (about 3-4 miles away) has guesthouses, inns and small hotels. Ipswich (around 10-12 miles away) offers larger hotels and chains. Book well in advance, as July weekends fill up fast. Suffolk also has charming country cottages and farm stays if you prefer a more secluded retreat.
