Lost Village 2026

Lost Village 2026 takes place from 27 to 30 August in Lost Village, Lincoln, Lincolnshire. This four-day festival transforms an abandoned village in the woods into a unique setting for music, art, and discovery.

Music and Entertainment

Experience a diverse lineup across multiple stages, featuring electronic DJs, live bands, and acoustic sets. The festival blends genres with performances in unusual locations such as a church and a grounded airplane cockpit. Additional offerings include immersive theatre, interactive artworks, and a comedy tent for late-night entertainment.

Food & Drink

Enjoy world-class dining with communal banquets by top chefs alongside international street food stalls. Discover hidden cocktail bars in the woods, perfect for relaxing by bonfires with craft drinks.

Wellness and Relaxation

The Energy Garden by the lake offers a tranquil space with wood-fired hot tubs, Finnish saunas, yoga sessions, and sound and massage therapies, providing a peaceful escape from the lively festival atmosphere.

Lost Village takes place in a rural woodland setting in Lincolnshire (postcode LN6 9QG, near Witham St Hughs). By car, the site is easily reached via the A46 (between Newark and Lincoln) or via the A1/A46 corridor. Festival parking is available (passes are required), so follow official signage to the designated parking areas as you approach. Travel times can be longer on a busy festival weekend, so allow extra time and consider carpooling to reduce traffic.

The nearest train station is Newark North Gate (on the East Coast Main Line). Regular trains run here from major cities including London (from King’s Cross), Nottingham, Sheffield and Leeds. From Newark North Gate, festival shuttle buses and local taxis connect to the site (about a 20–30 minute ride). Newark Castle and Lincoln are additional nearby stations, but they offer fewer direct connections to the festival area, so plan ahead if using those.

National Express coaches often serve Lost Village on festival days, with routes from cities like London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and more. These dedicated festival coaches drop off near the site and can be an easy, eco-friendly option if you prefer not to drive. Check National Express or the Lost Village website for coach schedules and advance booking.

The closest airport is East Midlands Airport (EMA), about 60 miles away. From EMA you can rent a car or take a train via Nottingham to reach Newark, then use the shuttle or a taxi. Other airports to consider include Manchester or Birmingham (with train or drive connections of roughly 2+ hours) or London airports (with fast trains from London St Pancras to Newark North Gate). Allow extra time for transfers, especially during busy holiday periods.

For overnight stays, Lost Village offers on-site camping and glamping (Boutique Sanctuary) tickets. If you prefer a hotel or B&B, look in nearby Newark-on-Trent (about 15 minutes drive), Lincoln (20–30 minutes) or even Nottingham (around an hour). These towns have a range of accommodations. If staying off-site, note that public transport to the festival is limited outside the shuttle schedule, so plan a taxi or a car. Booking any lodging early is advised, as options fill up during the festival weekend.
