Leeds has excellent rail and bus connections for reaching the festival. Leeds City Station is a major hub, with frequent trains arriving from London, Manchester, Edinburgh and beyond. From there you can take a local taxi or jump on a city bus to continue your journey. For example, local buses 19 and 19A run from the city centre toward Temple Newsam, stopping just a short walk from the festival site. The nearest train station to the venue (LS15) is Cross Gates, about 2 miles away. Train services to Cross Gates are frequent; from there a quick taxi or short bus ride will get you the rest of the way. Leeds Bus Station (next to the train station) also serves many regional coach lines, connecting you to the same local bus routes. Remember to check schedules in advance, as timetables may vary on weekends.

By air, Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) is the closest airport at about 14 miles north of Leeds. LBA offers flights from many UK and European cities. From the airport, you can take the frequent A1 Flyer bus or a taxi into Leeds city centre, then continue to the venue as above. If you are traveling internationally, Manchester Airport (about 80 miles west) and East Midlands Airport (about 80 miles south) are also options. Both have good rail and coach links to Leeds. For any route, allow extra travel time on a busy event day - especially during summer weekends.

Driving is straightforward, thanks to Leeds’ major motorways. From the south (e.g. London) take the M1 north; from the west (Manchester or Liverpool) take the M62 east. Once near Leeds, follow signs for the M621 and then take the A6120 outer ring road eastbound toward LS15. Local roads will then lead you to Temple Newsam Park; look out for event signage. On event day there are usually designated parking areas and park-and-ride buses, but these can fill up fast. Consider car-sharing or giving yourself plenty of extra travel time, and check local traffic updates to avoid any delays.

Leeds offers a wide range of accommodation options. In the city centre (LS1 and LS2) you will find many hotels, hostels and serviced apartments close to restaurants and transit. If you prefer to stay closer to the venue, there are smaller hotels, inns and B&Bs in East Leeds (areas like Cross Gates or Colton). Booking early is recommended, as local lodging often fills up quickly on popular weekends. For a countryside feel, consider charming guesthouses or cottages outside Leeds in nearby villages. Many visitors also look at short-term rentals or campsites in the greater Leeds area for flexibility. Wherever you stay, check reviews and cancellation policies in advance.
