By road: Elderflower Fields Festival is located in rural East Sussex at Pippingford Park, Nutley, TN22 3HW. If you’re driving from London (about 35 miles north), head south on the A22 (via Uckfield) to Nutley. From the Brighton/Seaford direction (about 30 miles), take the A27 to Lewes and then the A26/A22 northbound. The festival entrance is signposted just north of Nutley village. There is ample parking on-site for cars, campervans and motorhomes, and festival staff will guide drivers into the designated campsites and parking areas.
By train and bus: The nearest railway station is Uckfield (Southern Railway from London Victoria or London Bridge). From Uckfield station, local buses (Compass Travel service 261 towards East Grinstead) stop in Nutley village, or you can take a taxi for the final few miles to the festival fields. East Grinstead station (also on Southern via Gatwick/London) is another option; buses run regularly to Nutley or you can find a taxi. Be aware that public transport is limited in this area, especially late at night, so plan ahead: check timetables, book taxis in advance or consider ride-sharing at the end of the day.
By air: The closest major airport is London Gatwick (approximately 40 miles away). From Gatwick, you can take a direct Southern train to Uckfield or to East Grinstead (change at London Bridge for Uckfield) and then use local transport. London Heathrow is further (75–90 miles); visitors often fly into Gatwick or London City instead for convenience. Many festival-goers find it easiest to rent a car at the airport or in London and drive via the A22 to the site.
Accommodation: Standard festival tickets include camping, so bring your own tent, campervan or caravan to stay under the stars on-site. (Check the ticket site for any glamping or pre-booked camping options if you’d like extra comforts.) If indoor lodging is preferred, charming B&Bs, inns and holiday cottages can be found in nearby Nutley, Uckfield, Maresfield and East Grinstead. These tend to fill up quickly, so it’s wise to reserve early. The larger town of Haywards Heath (15 miles north) has hotels as well. On the festival grounds there are toilets and hot-water showers, along with a small shop and cafe for basic supplies. Note that mobile reception can be patchy in the woods, so write down any important directions and expected pick-up times when you arrive.
