Venue Location
The festival takes place at Walkern Hall in the village of Walkern, near Stevenage, Hertfordshire. Set in a rural village location, the venue is easily reached by car and is also accessible via public transport with a short onward journey.
Getting There by Train & Public Transport
The nearest main railway station is Stevenage, located on the East Coast Main Line, with frequent services to and from London King’s Cross (around 25–30 minutes), as well as connections to Cambridge and other major towns.
From Stevenage station, Walkern is approximately 4 miles away. Taxis are readily available at the station and offer the most direct route to the venue. Local bus services also operate between Stevenage and Walkern village, though services may be less frequent, particularly in the evenings, so checking timetables in advance is recommended.
Travelling by Car & Parking
Walkern is conveniently located near the A1(M), with access via junctions serving Stevenage. From the A1(M), follow signs toward Stevenage and then Walkern village.
Parking will be available on-site or nearby. Please note that village roads can be narrow, so allow extra time for arrival and drive considerately. Car-sharing is encouraged where possible.
Local Area & Accommodation
Walkern Hall (postcode SG2 7JA) is situated within the village, surrounded by countryside and local amenities. Stevenage town centre, offering a wide range of shops, restaurants and accommodation options, is only a short drive away.
As there is no official festival campsite, many attendees choose to stay in nearby hotels, B&Bs or guesthouses in Stevenage or surrounding villages. Early booking is strongly advised, as accommodation can fill up quickly during busy weekends.
