With a commitment to providing a platform for musicians across many genres of popular music, Brightlingsea is a FREE Music Festival that takes place at venues across the town. The highlight of the festival of two open air festivals right on the coast and with many years behind it, Brightlingsea Free Music Festival continues to be popular.
Established in 2001, Brightlingsea Free Music Festival has a growing audience but still maintains its intimate feel. In its 14th year acts are still being announced for 2015 with confirmations from New Town Kings and The Brew.
Alongside the music there is the opportunity to enjoy local food and drink with stalls dotted around the area and beer and wine tents, with much of the money made being put towards funding for the next festival.
The festival takes place across three days at the beginning of August from 5th- 7th in 2016. As of yet no acts have been announced but this should change anyday now.
