As One In The Park 2026 takes place on Saturday 18 July at Walpole Park, Ealing, West London. This one-day summer festival celebrates the LGBTQ+ community with live music, performances, and a welcoming outdoor atmosphere.

Matlocks Road (London W5 5EQ) in Ealing is well-connected by public transport. The nearest Tube stations are Ealing Broadway (Circle, District and Elizabeth lines) and South Ealing (Piccadilly line). Ealing Broadway is a major transit hub with trains to Paddington and other parts of London. From either station, Walpole Park (next to Matlocks Road) is just a short 5–10 minute walk, making it easy for tube or train travelers to reach the festival site.

Several London bus routes also serve the area around Walpole Park. For example, the 207, 427, and 65 buses run along Uxbridge Road, connecting places like Shepherd's Bush, Southall, and Richmond to Ealing. Hop off at stops near Mattock Lane and you'll be only a few minutes’ walk from the park. If you decide to drive or take a taxi, the park can be reached via the A40 or A4. Use postcode W5 5EQ for drop-off at the entrance. Keep in mind that on-site parking is very limited; consider using parking facilities around Ealing Broadway or street parking farther away and walking in instead.

Heathrow Airport is the closest major airport to Matlocks Road. From Heathrow, you can catch the Elizabeth Line or Heathrow Express to Paddington, then transfer to the Underground or a bus to reach Ealing Broadway. You can also take the Piccadilly line directly from Heathrow to South Ealing station. Gatwick, Stansted, and Luton airports are farther away; travelers from these airports can take a train into central London and then transfer to the Tube out to Ealing. Remember to use an Oyster card or contactless payment to make travel on public transport easier.

The A40 (Western Avenue) and A4 (Great West Road) provide road access to the Ealing area. Traffic can be busy during peak times, so allow extra travel time. There is no dedicated parking at Walpole Park, so if you're driving, consider parking in garages or on-street spaces near Ealing Broadway station and walking the rest of the way. Note that Matlocks Road is within London's Zone 3, and the Congestion Charge does not apply here.

Ealing and the surrounding area have plenty of accommodation options. You'll find hotels, guest houses, and B&Bs near Ealing Broadway station to suit different budgets. You might also consider staying in nearby neighborhoods like Shepherd's Bush, Acton, or even central London — most are about 20–30 minutes away by Tube or train. Summer weekends can be busy, so it's best to book early. Wherever you stay, choosing a place near good transport links will make it easy to reach Matlocks Road and the festival.
