Little Green Cars

Little Green Cars are a Dublin-based band that forms in 2008 and is active from Ireland. The group’s line-up includes Stevie Appleby, Dylan Lynch, Donagh Seaver O'Leary, Adam O'Regan and Faye O'Rourke. Their sound sits within folk rock and indie rock, and they are associated with the labels Glassnote and Island.

Background

The band develops out of an earlier Dublin group called The Revolts, which is founded in the mid-2000s. O'Regan and Seaver-O'Leary, along with former Little Green Cars member Utsav Lal, play in that earlier band before it evolves into Little Green Cars after The Revolts dissolves.

Career

After signing professional terms, Little Green Cars tour extensively in the United States and the UK. They release three singles and support Jake Bugg on his UK tour. Their 2013 US tour includes a performance of their single "Harper Lee" on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. They also play at SXSW in Austin, Texas and at Coachella in California, and they are scheduled for Lollapalooza in Chicago in 2013.
