Harvey Sutherland is an Australian electronic musician and analog synthesist who emerges from Melbourne’s underground scene. Before performing under this name, he works as a session player and behind-the-scenes contributor. His sound draws on house, deep house, funk, disco and electronic music, with a particular focus on analogue synthesis.
Releases
In 2013, he releases Nexus EP on This Thing Records. The record moves between lo-fi boogie and Roland-influenced house music, and it builds his profile among dance music listeners. He also releases 12-inch records on Echovolt and Voyage Recordings.
Reception
His music receives support from Bradley Zero, Tom Noble and Motor City Drum Ensemble, and it circulates widely among listeners and DJs internationally.
