Emily Burns is an English singer-songwriter from the United Kingdom who works in pop and indie pop.

Early life and career beginnings

Burns is born in Livingston, Scotland, and later moves to Rugby in England. In 2016, she moves to London to pursue music and takes a job as a receptionist at Abbey Road Studios. She uses time there to record her debut single, “Take It Or Leave It”.

Recordings and releases

After signing to 37 Adventures, Burns begins work on her debut mini-album, Seven Scenes From The Same Summer. The release is preceded by the singles “Bitch”, “Cheat” and “Girlfriend at the Time”. She leaves 37 Adventures in late 2018 and then releases the PDA EP independently in 2019.

She later signs to Island Records and releases the My Town EP, which includes the title track and “Is It Just Me?”.
