Ditz

Ditz, often stylised as DITZ, are a rock band that forms in Brighton in 2016. The group consists of Cal Francis on vocals, Caleb Remnant on bass, Anton Mocock on guitar, Jack Looker on guitar and Sam Evans on drums. Francis and Remnant grow up together in Gloucestershire and try to form bands before starting Ditz in Brighton, where the members are involved in different parts of the local music scene.

History

The band begins with Francis and Remnant as the original founders. Mocock joins later in 2016, followed by Looker on drums, and Evans completes the line-up in early 2019. In 2020, Ditz release the EP 5 Songs, which brings together singles first issued between 2018 and 2019. Around the same period, they sign to Alcopop! Records.

Albums

Ditz release their debut studio album, The Great Regression, in 2022. The album receives critical acclaim. Their second album, Never Exhale, follows in 2025.
