Cut is a name used by several separate acts.

Metal project from Taiyuan

One Cut project comes from Taiyuan in China and plays bestial black metal. It is described in relation to bands such as Blasphemy, Angelcorpse and Archgoat.

Sludge and hardcore band from Bonn

Another Cut is a three-piece band from Bonn, Germany, with a sound based in hardcore, sludge and noise. The group issues digital releases and a split tape with Empty., then releases its first LP, Stories of Success, in 2016. The album contains 12 tracks and the band describes its style as “messer-core”.

Garage rock band from Bologna

A third Cut is a garage rock band with post-punk influences from Bologna, Italy. The group is active since 1996 and releases six albums, beginning with its first album in 1998, along with a live album and smaller releases.

German duo

Another Cut is a duo from Germany formed by Birger Löhl, known from GETEILTE KÖPFE, and drummer Jason Kahn.

French emo and hardcore band

CUT is also the name of a French first-wave emo and hardcore band. It releases a self-titled 7-inch and a split on Théâtre Records.
