Chris Parkinson is a UK musician born in 1950 who has played music since the age of five. He begins on the harmonica and later takes up piano, guitar, concertina, tin whistle, melodeon, piano accordion and keyboards, as well as spending some time on fiddle.

He plays traditional folk music from the UK, Europe and further afield, and also works in blues, rock and roll and some jazz. He is associated with The Pipers Sons, The House Band and Yorkshire Relish.
