The Banham Zoo in Norfolk is hosting its first-ever music festival this week, featuring live music, local food vendors, and carnival games. The event marks the first time that live music will surround the grounds of Banham Zoo, providing guests with four hours of entertainment on Friday and Saturday from 4.30pm to 8.30pm.
Joshua Hunter-Harl, sales and marketing director, expressed his excitement about the new event, stating, "This brand-new event promises unforgettable family fun, where the wild vibes won't just come from our amazing animals but from the dancing crowds too. It's fantastic to create a space where music, wildlife, and community come together."
Live Performances and Activities
Alongside a variety of local food and drink vendors, including Bucket List and Tikka Tonic, music lovers can expect classic hits from a range of tribute acts. Friday night will feature performances by Abba Babes and Tom Jones, while Saturday's lineup includes Kylie Alike and Take This.
Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a rare twilight view of the zoo, participate in fun fair rides, and play carnival games. Tickets for the event are available via the Banham Zoo website, with free entry for zoo members who must still reserve their places in advance.
