Skindred have announced a one off event in Wales at the Newport Centre called "The Newport Helicop-Tour’ with special guests The Blackout and more guests to be announced..
Skindred are set to release the title track from their forthcoming album through DoubleCross on the 13th January 2014. The call to arms single will include killer remixes by the likes of Cyantific, Rednek, Zed Bias, Subsource and licarus
The band took to the streets and slums of Mumbai, India to film the video, guerilla style, for the single. Working with the casting director from “Slumdog Millionaire” the band spent a chaotic few days dodging police to deliver a powerful trademark live performance, interspersed around the mean streets of Mumbai.
Skindred’s 5th studio album “Kill the Power” will be released in January 2014. The band will be heading out on a full UK Tour with Special U.S. guests Chicago’s SOil & L.A.s Viza.
With over 500,000 albums sold, fourpiece Skindred are one of the UK's best live bands - regularly headlining festival stages from Bogota to Bosnia and beyond... This year the band will play to audiences of over 2 million. They also made their Reading/Leeds festival debut on the mainstage in August 2013 with their unique blend of rock, metal, reggae, roots and dub.
