Margate Drum & Bass Festival abruptly shut down as attendees were evacuated due to a medical emergency amid high temperatures. The event, held at Dreamland in Kent, was scheduled to continue until late evening.

Major music festival shut down over medical emergency

A popular music festival was suddenly shut down, leaving thousands stranded following a medical incident. The Margate Drum & Bass Festival at Dreamland, Kent, was interrupted around 5:40pm. The festival was meant to run until 10:30pm.

In a social media post, Dreamland cited the hot weather, stating that they had to close early due to temperatures exceeding 28C. Attendees were urged to return home safely.
