Summer Sessions Festival Returns to Beechwood Park

The Summer Sessions Festival, a free-to-attend music event, is set to return to Beechwood Park in Newport this weekend. The event is funded by Shared Prosperity Funding and organized by the Beechwood Park Community Group as part of their summer holiday entertainment program.

Welsh Talent Showcase

The festival, in collaboration with Newport City Radio and Dirty Carrot Records, will feature an eclectic mix of Welsh talent over three afternoons. Attendees can enjoy live performances from up-and-coming artists while taking part in free inflatable fun activities, creative craft sessions, and indulging in food and drink from various stalls.

Platform for Emerging Stars

The Summer Sessions Festival serves as a platform for emerging Welsh music stars to showcase their talent. Headline acts for this year's event include Aisha Kigs, Parcs, and The Rogues.

A spokesperson for the Beechwood Park Community Group expressed their excitement for the festival, stating, "The free-to-attend music festival will feature an eclectic mix of Wales' finest talent over three afternoons performing live this summer. In partnership with Newport City Radio and Dirty Carrot Records, the music festival is returning after a successful debut last summer."

"The Summer Sessions music festival is a platform for the next generation of Welsh music superstars," the spokesperson added.
