Marquee TV Brings Montreux Magic to UK Screens with Exclusive Jazz Festival Series
London, UK – June 2025 — Marquee TV, the global streaming platform for the performing arts, is set to electrify UK audiences with the launch of Montreux Sessions, a curated collection of legendary performances from the iconic Montreux Jazz Festival. Beginning 1 July, viewers can stream five years of unforgettable sets, including rare footage of some of music’s most revered artists.
Headlining the series is a landmark 2013 performance by Kendrick Lamar, captured as he delivered his seminal debut album Good Kid, M.A.A.D City live for the first time. The release coincides with Lamar’s current UK tour, including his highly anticipated show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Also featured is Ms. Lauryn Hill’s soulful 2017 set, where she revisits her Grammy-winning The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Fugees classics, and pays homage to Bob Marley and Sade. The lineup continues with genre-defying performances from Solange, jazz legend George Benson, soul icon Randy Crawford, and Mercury Prize-winner Michael Kiwanuka.
Since its founding in 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has drawn global audiences to the shores of Lake Geneva, becoming a beacon for musical excellence across genres. Montreux Sessions offers UK viewers a front-row seat to this rich legacy—exclusively on Marquee TV.
