The Glastonbury Festival has officially revealed when fans can next flock to Somerset to enjoy one of the world’s most iconic music gatherings.
Organisers had previously confirmed that Worthy Farm will take a break in 2026, allowing the land and its ecosystem time to recover. Now, the dates for the festival’s return have been set: Glastonbury 2027 will run from 23 to 27 June.
Details about ticket sales are not expected until mid-2026, while the line-up — including headliners — should be unveiled in early 2027. The last scheduled fallow year was in 2018, although the event also missed 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.
Emily Eavis, the festival’s co-organiser, has spoken before about the importance of pausing every few years: “The fallow year is important because it gives the land a rest, it gives the cows a chance to be out for longer and reclaim their land.”
She added that sustainability and respecting the land have always been central to Glastonbury’s ethos. The pause also provides a well-earned breather for the local Pilton community and the team behind the festival.
To mark the upcoming edition, organisers are also holding a charity prize draw for the first 25 tickets to Glastonbury 2027, with proceeds supporting Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF UK).
