The duo will headline alongside an array of comedy heavyweights guaranteed to bring some side-splitting humour to the popular fifth stage, including Seann Walsh, Shappi Khorsandi, Nick Helm and Gary Delaney.

Russell Kane commented: “'I can’t believe I’m headlining the V Festival Glee Club Comedy Tent! I will celebrate afterwards by heading straight to the Dance Tent, and throwing myself around to techno music like a tribal chief beating a drum.”

Making her second appearance at V Festival, Shappi Khorsandi said: “Sadly, rock stardom didn't happen for me so performing at V Festival’s Glee Club Comedy Tent is the very next best thing.”

Seann Walsh also commented: “I am looking forward to V Festival. However, I am not looking forward to the few days after it. I am both excited and terrified. Oh God!”

Comedy acts joining Frankie Boyle, Russell Kane, Seann Walsh, Shappi Khorsandi, Nick Helm and Gary Delaney on the 22nd and 23rd August, at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire will be announced in the coming months.
