About The Headliners

TONY HADLEY

Former, lead singer with pioneers of the New Romantic movement Spandau Ballet, Tony’s voice is one of the most familiar and best loved of a generation. With chart topping singles all around the world, that included the seminal; Gold, True, Through The Barricades and Lifeline to name only a few. Tony also provided vocals on the original ground breaking Band Aid single, which remains to this day the biggest selling song of all time. Tony continues to have a long standing and critically acclaimed solo career, that has seen him perform at ‘Night Of The Proms’, ‘Proms in The Park’, in the West End Musical ‘Chicago’, orchestral performances at Royal Albert Hall & global tours, aswell as his personal favourite performing swing with some of the greatest jazz orchestras in Europe. Tony has his own Radio show on Absolute, has released a fascinating autobiography, is a staunch charitable campaigner and even did a stint on Im A Celebrity!

ABC

ABC have enjoyed a glittering career to date. Very definitely one of a number of groups who came along and kick-started the Eighties with their own brand of pop for a ‘new decade’. On it’s release in May 1982, their debut album The Lexicon of Love crashed straight into the UK album charts at number one. Showcasing the hit songs  Poison Arrow, The Look Of Love and All Of My Heart. A ground-breaking collection of modern love songs, with a majestic production from the legendary Trevor Horn it remains a classic to this day. Voted by many as the best British album of the decade.

KIM WILDE

Kim Wilde burst onto the music scene in 1981 with the classic ‘Kids In America’, a worldwide hit. This lead to a stunning career with over 30 million record sales, spanning 12 albums and some of the most memorable hits of the 80s. Kim also supported Michael Jackson on his ‘Bad’ tour in Europe, playing to over 2 million people over 5 months and supported the legendary David Bowie across Europe on his 1990 Greatest Hits stadium tour. She has her own show on Magic FM and in 2012 she went viral on Youtube when a video of her singing on the London Underground after the Magic Xmas party hit 2.5million views.

BELINDA CARLISLE

One of the most beautiful and iconic women in pop, former teen punk singer in the GoGos’s, during the 80’s Belinda went solo and rocked both sides of the Atlantic, storming into the number 1 slot with her distinctive vocals on Heaven Is A Place on Earth and hits such as Leave a Light On.

GO WEST

Go West are an English pop duo, formed in 1982 by lead vocalist Peter Cox and rhythm guitarist / backing vocals Richard Drummie. They enjoyed their peak of popularity between the mid-1980s and the early 1990s and are best known for the international top 10 hits We Close Our Eyes, Call Me and King Of Wishful Thinking.
