Isle of Wight duo The Pill will be taking the stage at both Victorious and Reading Festival this weekend. The punk band is gearing up for a headline tour after these major UK festival performances.
The Pill to Perform at Victorious and Reading Festival
Isle of Wight band The Pill will perform at two major UK festivals in one day this bank holiday weekend, rounding off the summer festival season ahead of their upcoming headline tour.
The punk duo will take to the stage at Victorious Festival in Southsea on Saturday, August 23, before making their way to Reading Festival for a gig later the same day.
At Victorious, you can catch the pair opening up the Common Stage at 12:10pm, ahead of performances from Shed Seven, Scouting for Girls and The Last Dinner Party.
At Reading, they’ll be on the BBC Introducing Stage at 6:25pm before acts including Limp Bizkit and Becky Hill take to the main stages.
Headline Tour and New EP
In September and October, The Pill will embark on a headline tour around the UK and Europe. The concerts in Bristol and Manchester have already sold out, and the nearest date to the Isle of Wight will be at The Joiners in Southampton on October 1.
The tour is in support of the group’s newly released EP, which combines their singles from the last twelve months.
After the UK gigs, the band will head to Europe, stopping off in Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany and France.
Since they released their debut single in April 2024, The Pill have quickly gained popularity, having supported Green Day and attracted famous fans including the BBC's Steve Lamacq.
