Bunkfest 2025: Wallingford music festival returns with stellar lineup
Thousands will descend on an Oxfordshire town for a free festival this weekend, as Bunkfest returns in 2025 with a stellar lineup.
The free annual music festival takes place at the Kine Croft in Wallingford this bank holiday weekend, from Friday, August 29 to Sunday, August 31.
The South Oxfordshire festival is the only one of its kind in the county, put on every year for more than two decades by a dedicated team of more than 400 volunteers.
Highlights of the Festival
- Headliner Laurence Jones
- The Red Hot Chilli Pipers
- The Amy Winehouse Band
On Saturday, the main act is The Red Hot Chilli Pipers, a Scottish bagpiping rock band - named 'Bagrock' by the band - who promise to "bring the heat".
Sunday's headliners are The Amy Winehouse Band, made up of the original musicians who accompanied the legendary voice on stage, led by her long term musical director and bass player Dale Davis, to celebrate her music, life and legacy.
An incredible range of other acts will share the main stage throughout the weekend, including storytelling singer-songwriter Brook Ellingworth, folk duo Evergreen and soulful singer Lily Beck.
Additional Entertainment
In addition to musical performances, festival-goers can enjoy world-class dancing teams showcasing various dance styles at different stages throughout the festival.
These will take place on the Bullcroft Dance Stage and High Street Dance Stage of the festival, as well as in the Market Place, at The Boat House, at Cholsey and Wallingford Railway and at The Dolphin.
