Undercover Festival Brings Alternative Music to South Essex

Undercover Festival, known for its alternative music lineup and friendly atmosphere, is coming to South Essex. The festival promises to be a hipster-free zone with a diverse range of bands performing.

THERE'S a new festival in town with a line-up that is now complete and it is claiming to be one of the friendliest out there – but beware, this is strictly a hipster-free zone and none of that x-factor schmaltz either.

Unique Lineup

Undercover Festival, a small independent music festival featuring alternative, punk, ska, and post-punk music, has been running for twelve years at various locations. This year, it is coming to South Essex at The Showground Battlesbridge Antiques Centre near Wickford on 26th and 27th September.

The festival organizer, Mick, stated, 'We are a hipster-free zone, an X Factor-free zone, thank goodness, and we have a no-nonsense approach to any pretentious clicky musical garbage, just a great vibe and ensemble of alternative bands.'

Exciting Performances

The lineup includes bands like Skids, Subhumans, Popes of Chillitown, and Eddie & The Hot Rods, promising a diverse range of music for attendees to enjoy.

Event Details

The festival will be held at The Showground in Battlesbridge, easily accessible by road, rail, and bus. Tickets priced at £79 include camping, showers, parking, and unique attractions such as a museum, record shops, and vintage sellers.

Day tickets are now available but selling out quickly due to limited numbers. Tickets can be purchased online or in-person at various locations.
