The Stone Roses original line up of Ian Brown, John Squire, Gary (Mani) Mounfield and Alex (Reni) Wren made history today on confirming that they have reunited after 15 years of since their last gig together and are back in the studio getting ready for a tour next June. This was confirmed by all 4 members at a press conference today.
The band released two albums ‘The Stone Roses’ and ‘Second Coming’ before they split but their music changed the way forward for the Manchester scene at the time and the support from fans to see them get back together over the years has been immense.
