Relentless Energy Drink Freeze today announces a new direction for the event with the creation of an Invitational Snowboard Event. Freeze Snowboard Big Air

Event organisers today announce a new snowboarding competition will feature at the UK’s biggest winter sports event – the Invitational Snowboarding Event, Freeze Snowboarding Big Air.  Top boarders from around the globe will descend on Battersea Power Station (26th-27th October) to compete in this brand new format for 2012.  



Snowboarding at Freeze will now allow an unrestricted field to the UK’s only international snowboard event.

The snowboard comp will now follow the same format as the ski event, Freeze Ski Big Air, and will invite the World’s biggest names in the discipline.

Another new factor will be the grandstand seating available for those hardcore sports fans!

Athletes already confirmed for snowboard include Halldor and Eiki Helgason, Air & Style Winner Marko Grilc, Norwegian Gjermund Braaten, and the UK’s Jamie Nicholls.  (for rider lists check out the website)

The ski event will host AFP Tour Champion Gus Kenworthy, Freeze champions Jossi Wells and Jacob Wester, style master Henrik Harlaut and the UK ‘s  X-Games Medalist James Woods. (for rider lists check out the website)

Freeze will also introduce best trick events in both snowboard and ski and the classic Europe v’s The World Rider Cup also returns.
