Northwich's Pina Colada Festival, in its fifth year, promises a tropical celebration with street performances, live music, and family-friendly activities.
Northwich's Pina Colada Festival Returns
Northwich town centre is hosting the iconic Pina Colada Festival once again this summer. Organized by Northwich BID and supported by local councils, the festival was inspired by the birthplace of 'Escape (The Pina Colada Song)' singer Rupert Holmes. Now in its fifth year, the festival on August 16th promises a vibrant celebration.
Caribbean Fusion and Family Fun
The festival offers a mix of street performances, live music, and plenty of Pina Coladas to enjoy. Exciting additions this year include a giant urban beach, a surf simulator, free photobooth, and more. Food and drink from local establishments will be available, providing a perfect opportunity for visitors to relax and soak up the sun.
Samba Parade and Main Stage
The Samba Parade with 100 performers promises a colorful spectacle of dance and energy. The main stage at Apple Market Place will feature live performances, a catwalk, LED screen, and confetti cannons. Family-friendly activities like pineapple-themed kids crafts and mini-golf provide entertainment for all.
