Best British Food Festivals Still To Come In 2025
Summer isn’t the only time for festivals. Throughout the year, the country’s regional culinary scenes are celebrated with an eclectic programme of events, offering the chance to meet local producers, watch top chefs in action and of course tuck into plenty of delicious food and drinks. From a new event on Bristol’s harbourside to a seafood extravaganza in Devon, here are the food festivals still available to book for 2025.
Brick Lane Curry Festival, London
Curry lovers: we’ve got some exciting news for you. After a nine-year hiatus, the beloved Brick Lane Curry Festival is returning to the streets of East London this September. The event will spotlight the area’s legendary curry houses with street food stalls, chef demonstrations and performances, alongside free activities ranging from Henna painting workshops to Bangla dance classes.
FODA: A Festival of Food Ideas, Bristol
A brand-new festival is coming to Bristol’s Arnolfini arts centre this month, FODA, standing for ‘festival of food ideas’. Helmed by local chef Josh Eggerton, owner of The Pony Group, alongside Shona Graham of Team Canteen, the festival began as an industry event, but this year it’s opening to the public for the first time. Inspired by Galway’s Food on the Edge, the event explores some of the biggest issues in the food world, from regenerative farming to health and education, through panel talks, workshops and exhibitions. Guests can also explore local ingredients at the Producer Village, which will be dotted along the harbourside.
Dartmouth Food Festival, Dartmouth
Dartmouth’s autumn food event returns this October, set against the backdrop of the River Dart. Spread across three days, the festival brings together chefs, writers and producers from all over the country, with a programme of talks, cookery demonstrations and drinks masterclasses. Don’t miss the opening night party, where local chefs will cook up dishes using South West produce, alongside live music.
Abergavenny Food Festival, Wales
Each September, the Welsh town of Abergavenny comes alive with chefs, farmers and foodies, who unite for the annual food festival. Set across two days in multiple venues, the event sees over 150 exhibitors showcasing local produce from Monmouthshire, the Marches, Wales and further afield. Festival goers can watch chefs live in action on the stage in the Victorian Market Hall, and listen to debates from culinary figures.
