A refreshed incarnation of The Impossible Gentlemen held a packed room for an hour at Zeffrelli’s on the second night of the festival. A cast of musicians gradually evolving each year and established line-ups sprinkled through the weekend between adventurous combinations and first meetings.
Lineup and Performances
The extended family this year included some UK stalwarts of almost every previous edition of Ambleside Days, with duos, trios, quartets, and large ensembles performing across the weekend.
With a quasi-fringe festival in the bar featuring a house trio and special performances from Geoffrey Keezer, Gillian Margot, Vincent Peirani, and more, the weekend was full of captivating music.
