The Darkness Announce UK Dates For World Tour

Following several months on the road with Lady Gaga in 2012, THE DARKNESS will make a triumphant return to headline touring with 2013's 'Let Them Eat Cakes' world tour.

The first wave of tour announcement sees the band kicking off the New Year in North America, before venturing back to the UK and Europe for February/March. The Darkness will play the following UK dates:

Tickets for the UK dates go on sale at 9am on Friday 9th November priced at £25 (regionally) & £27.50 (London) (subject to booking fee) and are available from www.livenation.co.uk and www.ticketmaster.co.uk 
 
An April 2013 revisit to Australia (where they will be joined by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts for the tour), also sees the band returning to New Zealand for the first time since the Big Day Out festival in 2004.
 
This first round of touring (full dates below) will be the first protracted run of headline shows The Darkness has been able to undertake since the release of the critically-acclaimed third album 'HOT CAKES'. 
 
THE DARKNESS:  JUSTIN HAWKINS (vocals/guitars), DAN HAWKINS (guitars/backing vocals), FRANKIE POULLAIN (bass) and ED GRAHAM (drums) are still currently in the midst of a worldwide tour with Lady Gaga in support of their third studio albumHOT CAKES out on Wind-up (North / South America) / PIAS (Rest Of World). HOT CAKES was produced by the band’s JUSTIN and DAN HAWKINS with long-time collaborator Nick Brine and mixed by Bob Ezrin. The resulting 11-song cycle delivers the epic rock anthems and infectious pop choruses the band has become renowned for worldwide.
