Liverpool’s landmark summer event, On the Waterfront, returns for its 5th edition next summer, for another four-day concert series of unforgettable live music, taking over the city’s iconic Pier Head from Thursday 18th – Sunday 21st June 2026, and Snow Patrol have just been announced as Sunday’s headliner, their first performing in the city in over a decade.
Snow Patrol - The Beloved Rock Band
Snow Patrol are one of the most successful and beloved alternative rock bands of the last three decades. Since their debut album ‘Songs for Polarbears’ in ‘98, they have created anthems that have defined a generation, including timeless classic ‘Chasing Cars’, crowned the most played song of the 21st century. Their latest album ‘The Forest Is the Path’, went straight to Number 1 in the UK, led by singles ‘All’, ‘The Beginning’ and ‘This Is The Sound Of Your Voice’, further cementing their position as one of the UK’s most important bands.

Joining Snow Patrol on the bill are Liverpudlian indie-rockers Circa Waves, alongside English American dream pop trio Sunday (1994). Set against the stunning backdrop of the River Mersey and the city’s world-famous Three Graces, On the Waterfront 2026 is shaping up to be a truly special weekend, bringing unforgettable live performances to one of Liverpool’s most iconic locations.
