This years nominations for the Shockwaves NME awards taking place at O2 Brixton Academy have been announced
The Shockwaves NME Awards takes place on Wednesday 23Rd February at London's O2 Brixton Academy.Nominations for this years awards have been announced and fighting it out for one of the biggest prizes of the night, Best British Band are Foals, Arctic Monkeys, Biffy Clyro, Kasabian and Muse. Other nominees on the night are Arcade Fire for four awards, My Chemical Romance for Three awards and Lady GaGa who continues to confound, she is nominated for most and least stylish. Dave Grohl will be picking up his Godlike Genius Award on the night, with Foo Fighters also playing at this major event before they headline the NME Awards Big Gig at Wembley on Friday February 25Th.
