The Horwich Beer Festival is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary next week, inviting everyone to raise a glass in honor of the occasion. This event, organized by the Rotary Club of Horwich, will take place at Horwich RMI Club on Chorley New Road.
Date and Time
The festival will span over two days, starting on Friday, September 12th from 4pm to 11pm, and continuing on Saturday, September 13th from 1pm to 11pm. Entry to the festival is free for all attendees, who will also receive a commemorative glass to mark the event.
Beverage Selection
Attendees can look forward to a fine selection of draft ales, lagers, and ciders at the festival, along with a prosecco bar and soft drinks for non-alcoholic options.
Community Support
Pat Byrne, the club secretary of the Rotary Club of Horwich, expressed gratitude towards the local businesses, individuals, and volunteers who have supported the event over the years. The festival has raised over £100,000 to fund various local, national, and international projects.
Official Opening
The 2025 festival will be officially opened by the Mayor of Horwich, Councillor Victoria Rigby, adding a touch of ceremonial importance to the celebration.
