The Beat-Herder, a boutique festival that takes place each June in the heart of Lancashire, is pleased to announce some exciting additions to the 2012 bill. Headlining Sunday night will be Belgium’s finest electronic export Aeroplane.  Armed with his concoction of French house and Balearic beats, Vito De Luca aka Aeroplane will be the perfect DJ set to close the festival in style.

One of the most talked-about DJs of the moment Fake Blood will also be heading to Ribble Valley along with Austrian DJ/producer Parov Stelar who will be making his only UK festival appearance at The Beat-Herder. With his unmistakable sound-mix of Jazz- and Swing samples and electronic music, Stelar has secured his own unique position in the world of music. They join dance-punk quintet The Whip and house/techno legend Etienne De Crecy who has spearheaded French electronica worldwide since bursting onto the scene in 1997.

London producer and Night Slugs member, Girl Unit will be bringing his dubstep influenced sound to the North, along with hotly tipped drum and bass outfit Rudimental, who will also be heading to Lancashire along with electronic outfit Japanese Popstars. Other additions to the bill include, Krysko, Biggles Wartime Band, Operator 6, Cross Cut Saw, The Banana Sessions, Kitten & The Hip, Slamboree, Yes Sir Boss, Grinny Grandad live, DJ Sneak Beats, Stans Magic Foot, Folkestra, Ivan Campo, The Wonderful Sound of the Cinema Organ, Rumour Has it, Drymbago, Dooks and Kora Fula.
