Slowpoke with Maceo Plex UK Debut

Maceo Plex comes to a secret London location for his UK Debut offering an eight hour pleasure ride through the warmest house and techno.

Slowpoke have teamed up with Maceo Plex to bring you a night of refined house and techno with a twist of funk to a secret London location on Friday March 11th from 10pm until 6am.

For their next event Slowpoke are thrilled to keep up the good work with Maceo Plex for his UK debut around the release of his stunning album, 'Life Index' on Crosstown Rebels.  ‘Life Index’ chronicles Maceo's life long transformation into the soulful ball of energy he is today. Eric Estornel AKA Maceo Plex began his musical evolutionary process in 1993. Since this time he has taken on many forms such as Maetrik and Mariel Ito and unveiled a plethora of musical delights on labels such as Cocoon, Audiomatique, Mothership, Dumb Unit and many others.

Maceo Plex was born from a need for feeling, and a yearning quest for funk. "Life Index is my baby. It's all the soul music I've been holding inside and have been wanting to write,” explains Maceo.

Support comes from Wolf+Lamb’s jozif. With his infectious and underlying groove to his rhythms, jozif has a unique presence in and out of the booth, encapsulating his floor and coaxing them alongside his ever-changing musical explorations. Brian Monaco of Kitchen party will be playing his style of intelligent sexy deep minimal techno beats and Gower Ramsey completes the line-up, old and treasured resident of T BAR and a true tastemaker, playing a spectrum of refined house and techno.
